I’m exceptionally grateful for the support Liz provided as I worked through a flood claim which left me out of my home for almost a year due to a never-ending series of issues arising. It certainly wasn’t a straight forward claim! Once Liz became involved in the claim, I began to see progress as she fought on my behalf for the initial repairs to be rectified and others to be approved. Having Liz attend on-site meetings with the insurance assessors, the assessor who reviewed the original repairs, various other trades and the second set of builders was invaluable. So often I questioned whether I was being unreasonable to expect my home to be restored to its previous condition but Liz patiently and repeatedly assured me I was not. I am so pleased that I had a broker “in my corner” who was so tenacious, pragmatic and determined to get the best possible outcome. I know the outcome would not have been so good had I been working directly with the insurer on such a significant and long term claim, rather than Liz.
It’s fair to say that all my insurance business will be remaining with my trusted broker, Liz.
